The Independence – A Trace Hotel – a 75-room, Boutique Hotel located on the Willamette River in Oregon’s Willamette valley.

The Independence – A Trace Hotel is a new-build development on the Willamette River in the city of Independence, Oregon. A public, private partnership, EHG and partner Tokola Properties were selected as the lead developer of the hotel portion of the 13-acre site through an RFQ and exclusive negotiation process with the City of Independence. EHG is the management company and an owner.

On the west bank of the Willamette river, in the southern Willamette Valley wine region, the boutique upscale hotel embraces the river with a highly customized design that serves the local university, wine tourism, and outdoor recreation enthusiasts, including cycling, birding, water sports and hiking. Bike-friendly amenities include in-room room bike storage, a 24-hour bike work-room, and outdoor bike-wash stations. With a stunning rooftop deck, locally crafted and curated art and furnishing, and a full-service riverfront restaurant and bar with local wine, brews and fresh seasonal cuisine.
